Yeah she is. She just killed the brand new toy Carla(ktn67) gave them today.

I allready threw the tire in the trash and have no reciept. It was a birthday gift from another friend for Ca$h.

HIS 4th new birthday toy she's killed in a week.
Little snot!

I will be taking the tougher toys back from now on, just never thought of it.

Sonji tested, Boxer approved should be the new sales claim.

I also saw this but was a little put off by the tire smell. Since the consensus is more on the positive I will try it. Poor puppy when he comes home he his just going to be drowing in toys. I swear for the past 3 months I have spent unthinkable amounts every week on toys, equipment etc...I keep saying I having everything and then I find something new! Oh well I don't expect it to get better soon.

Great tip by the way on returning tough toys that don't last.

It did smell like a tire for the first few days. Samson would come over to give me a kiss (after chewing on the tire) and I'd say "hey tire breath!" :p I must tell you though... it did smell much better than doggy breath! ;) His teeth even look a little cleaner! :)

With the returning the 'tough' toys... I didn't think they'd take it back at first but I was like... hey if it claims to be SO TOUGH, why was it in shreads within 10 minutes! They gave me no problems... I'd just bring the toy back (and its pieces!) with the package and reciept. The first time I did that, I got Sam a kevlar (sp?) You know that stuff they use in bullet proof vests. Anyways it was a frisbee made out of that stuff. And I thought... I know this has got to hold up... So I spent 20 bucks on it and Sam tore it up within minutes! I could not believe it! So back it went!

I've seen the tires too and wondered. I thought they would love 'em. I may give 'em a try.

:) We did just buy a new one for the dogs. They love tennis balls so when we saw this we figured they would love it. It looks like a bar bell, but it's all made out of tennis ball material. (Air Dog) I love to watch them carry it around with their lips hanging up on the ends. We've only had it for about a week, but so far it's holding up well.:p

Indy has had one for a year now. From time to time he will gnaw on it but other than tooth marks he hasn't damaged it.

He enjoys carrying it and tossing it around. There are two sizes larger than the one he has. I seem to recall that there is supposed to be a mint flavor to them to help with breath, but the do smell like tires when new.

I'm amazed that any dog could chew a hole in them.

Thank goodness for the edit feature. The site says that they are spearmint scented. Maybe only a dog can smell it.

I bought that for Junior months ago, however, he doesn't like it. I'll try and play with it and him, and he looks at me like, "sorry mom, it doesn't squeak and its not furry". He doesn't give it the time of day.

How do you get a Boxer to like something  ?
