Boxer Pal
I wouldn't really consider this a problem, it's more of a question, considering the fact that I will correct his behavior depending on how far he takes it. I like rough housing, and do it all the time with Rocky. He gets pretty rough with me, but as soon as tell him to "stop" or "that's enough", he knocks it off. So he knows when to rough house and how to rough house with certain people. If my 4 year old nephew is involved, he is very gentle. Back to the point of this post, So about a week and a half ago, I got my new little guy, Bubba
I got him from a friend of mine. After seeing Bubba and playing with him, another friend of mine wanted a boxer so bad and managed to get Bubba's brother, a reverse brindle male. I know for a fact that they knew who they were because they immediately got along and started playing. Now here is where my question comes in. As they are playing, Bubba constantly tries to take his brother down in every way possible, jumping on him, getting on his back, nibbling at his feet, etc.
when buzz ( bubba's bro) would lay down, bubba would walk right over him and stand over him. My friend even pointed out that even the way Bubba walks shows that he is dominant. He walks very confident and strong, where buzz walks all dorky
Is all of this Bubba's ways of asserting his dominance over his brother?
