I remember (barely) a month ago or so a lady from the Chicago area looking to rehome her Boxers because she was taking a job in the UK...I wonder if these were hers.

I thought that, too, but they have different names. I also don't think hers were cropped, but I could be wrong. They just look so sweet!

They are still listed on petfinder. They have been listed for a month. There is a phone number to call for more info. If you are interested, I hope it works out. They are both so beautiful! Good luck and keep us posted.

HI! I still check in occassionally to see what's going on. And noticed i left everyone hanging. I'm sorry!!!

UPDATE!!!

I found great homes for my babies. Buc, the big boy is out in Southern Illinois, he has a yard (he was a condo dog), a kid, a stay at home Mom, and a new Dad he adores (he's pretty shy with newcomers, but for some odd reason he was curious and excited to say hello when they came to meet him, that pretty much did it, of course after drilling them with questions, making sure they OWNED their home and weren't renters and i drove Buc out to their place, i wanted to do a 'home inspection' of my own before saying goodbye. He looked so happy in the yard, i'm sure he forgot about me pretty quickly, and now he's got his own boy to grow up with.)

The little girl is being treated like a 'doll' by the daughter of a woman who had came to look at the condo next door to me. She resides in the southside of Chicago. Lilu didn't do the switch too well, her new Mom must crate her when they all leave the house, which is about 4 hours per day. It had taken me quite a while to get her to the point she could have free run of the house. I had often worried she would need to be crated forever, as i was about to quit trying...she got better, but i think the family change wigged her out. I keep in contact with questions and let her new family know that i would still be here until March at the earliest, July at the latest and would not think horribly if the adjustment was too much and they wanted to return her. No phone calls recently, i'm assuming they've figured it out.

ICING ON THE CAKE!!! GRRR!!!

Did anyone else notice that the UK has decided to LIFT the friggin' quarantine laws that had caused me to let my babies go on December TENTH!!! I could've kept both my babies and gotten them across. I was heartbroken when i stumbled across the article as i was strolling through the web.

Anyway. The only consolation is that i was able to find good, loving and stable homes...with CHILDREN for my babies. I had hoped someday they'd grow up with mine, but plans changed.

I still enjoy this site. When i know i won't be moving around again for a long time, i'm sure i will have another Boxer in the family.

I miss them terribly. They're wonderful companions, friends, guardians, lumps on the couch, clowns, etc.
