2 1\2 yr old dog aggression

my 2 1\2 yr old female is starting to be aggressive with other female dogs, she was in one fight with a dog a month ago, the other day she saw the same dog and charged her grabbing her by the neck, i've had to pull her off both times. we live on a farm where she can be with us without being on a leash. any ideas on training? i hate to keep her on leash all the time.

A consultation with a behavorist would be ideal. Does she bite or just grab on? Draw blood? Boxers bitches can be a handful when they come into maturity so you need to be cautious about letting her loose. I have a dog aggressive girl and it has been a lot of work but we are making progress now. Working with a behavorist, obedience,etc. but she is never loose except in very well known secluded spots or her own back yard.
