1st Vet Visit

Riley had his first vet visit today and I am one proud mom! His exam went perfect and he handled it like a trooper!

Riley astounds me everyday and like all boxer parents, to me he is a special little character that surprises me every chance he gets. From his little 7:30 to 8:30 psycho period to when he was asked to go potty in the rain and I get a sigh, a head flip and then of course a very wet boxer going potty in the rain!

Had to share! Hubby and I just love this little guy so much and think he is the best, well trained 9 week old boxer ever.

I think behaving at the vet and thus making everyone, even the most 'closed' looking people there instant friends is purely a boxer thing.
Fudgie has always been very good at the vet and lets him examine every part that needs to be without a murmur.

Great job! Love hearing when they do well at the vet.

I took Maya to the vet last week and everyone was very taken with her. There was a woman in the waiting area who asked what kind of dog she was. I told her that she was a boxer and she said good now I can go tell my husband what kind of dog I want!

Glad to hear that his vet visit went so well!

At Raiden's first vet visit, the vet took to him right away and brought him to the back room for all of the techs to cuddle. At our second vet visit, everyone remembered him right away and he didn't disappoint with his great behaviour two trips in a row. Now if only I could get the same positive attitude out of my border collie when we pull up to the vet.
