We are picking up our boxer baby in 3 weeks and we cannot stop thinking about him. We have been waiting for almost 2 years to get out first boxer. (My husband and I got married in Sept.) We went over the breeder's last night and visited with him. We named him Gable. We were wondering if there was any advice or words of wisdom for the first few days with our boxer baby! What did you experienced boxer parents give your boxer when it was a puppy. The breeder is giving him Eukanuba right now. I am so glad that this website is here. We cannot wait to start posting pics of our baby!

Welcome! Congratulations on getting Gable. I bet you are so anxious to get him home.

There have been TONS of threads on everything you need when Gable comes home....feeding, etc. If you use the search button (top right, blue bottom) you'll find a lot of usefull info. There's also a puppy rearing forum that might be good to search. Can't wait to see some pics and hear all about his arrival!

How wonderful :) I love his name - sounds very regal...the only advice I can give is get plenty of sleep now - all babies have one thing in common - they keep you up at night for a few weeks at first. Can't wait to see pictures....

Welcome and congrats on your soon-to-be addition. My advice would be to have lots of patience and remember to have fun with your little one. I love the name Gable! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all the stories of your little guy.:)

Welcome and congrats on your new boxer pup! My only word of advice is patience. You will find a ton of info you need on Boxerworld about taking care of your pup, etc. You have a made a wise decision with a boxer.;)
