14 week old uses my Boston Terrier as a chew toy

I have a 10 year old male Boston Terrier (Bud) who is missing his back leg. We adopted him that way (another story in it's self).

Suki is a 14 week old female furr baby. We've had her since she was 6 weeks old. She has always knipped at Buds neck and stumpy tail. Now she chews on the top of his neck and attacks from the rear. Should I let her do this or try and stop her. We shoo her away from him, but she just comes right back.. I can tell when he's getting fed up. He does snap back some, but he's a gentle boy. She is a very sweet little girl, just playful??

The BT will take care of the puppy's antics once the puppy is out of puppyhood (they smell the hormones). Older dogs (especially females) will allow pups a lot of leeway in terms of biting, chewing, etc. Let them work it out. If it gets out of hand then you can give the pup a time out (not discipline) in the crate to "cool off."

If you "shoo" the pup away and don't give him something else to do besides torturing the BT, what else do you expect? If you want them separated so the BT has a little peace and quiet, engage the pup with a toy, a new game or something else. They have very short attention spans so you need to give them something else to do to occupy themselves if they are interrupted from their antics.
