Emma with the big heart

Hello everyone and for those who have added replies, thank you and so sorry for the lengthy delay in replying myself. My work took me well away from computer time for the past few weeks so I have been focussed on the family every rare moment of free time.

You people are pretty special. I guess that is not a surprise at "boxerworld".

Emma is plugging along and hasn't had many "episodes" over the past three weeks, but I think I have stumbled onto something possibly. In hindsight, it seems that Emma's collapsing spells have most often come when she is chronologically furthest from her previous meal. This has me wondering if this CM could be aggravated by hypoglycemia. As such and and our own, Tania and I have begun splitting her twice daily feedings into three times a day. We have not witnessed any collapsing since. For food allergy reasons she has been on Royal Canin veterinary Low Fat food for a year and I am also wondering if this strict diet may be a little insufficient for her at this age, with all of her issues.

Any thoughts??

In the meantime, Emma still catches younger, taller Jake in the playground and I believe your postive thoughts have helped allow us to see that to this date. Thanks again.

Great News. So happy to hear Emma is doing better. Hopefully things will continue to move along as smoothly with her new feeding schedule! :)
