10 Week Old Pup Fights For Life

Meet Tink...

Found abandoned in an alley, starving and severely dehydrated, "Tinker Toy" is fighting for his life. This poor, 10 week old, 8 lb pup, had to spend 3 days in the county shelter before allowed to be adopted into the safety of Boxer Luv. However, we could not protect him from the many diseases that he was exposed to on the street and at the shelter. Unvaccinated, unprotected & missing proper puppy medical care, little Tinker Toy contracted the deadly Parvo Virus plus an unidentified upper respiratory infection, which we pray is not distemper but kennel cough.

He is currently fighting for his life at one of our veterinarians’ hospital.

We ask for your prayers and donations to support this little fellow who is waging war against a very dangerous, life-threatening disease.

It is only through your help that we can continue our work to save little pups like Tinker Toy.

I made a small donation of $10. That is one less toy for Oscar and Lilly but since they have a toybox full it is money well spent. I just hope that it doesn't put me on a mailing list since I normally donate to my local boxer rescue. I hope Tink makes it he is such a beautiful boy. Good Luck

Thank you all for your well wishes! Tink had a turn for the worst over the weekend and it wasn't looking good at all as he began coughing and coughing and seemed very lethargic. BUT...yesterday, he started to improve and was moving around and wanting to walk so his foster mom went and picked him up so she can be there with him 24/7 as we all hated that he had to be in a kennel at the vet's office. So...I just got a report and he's doing MUCH better. Fluids, meds and a LOT of TLC (all night long I might add!!) is working for him. We need him to gain some weight asap as he's still not out of the woods, yet.
