Hello all,
I have two 10 weeks older boxer babies and last night one of them had a weird episode of some sort.
I noticed that she started to crouch like she was trying to find a place to potty, so I had my son take her outside. He came back in to tell me that something was wrong with her.
I ran outside and her legs were almost completely spread eagle like she couldn't control them and she was wimpering. Then she started to walk around and she was walking like she was drunk then she would stop walking and lose control of her legs again. I scooped her up and took her into the house and just held her for a couple of minutes and stroked her. She didn't wag her tail, she didn't lick my face, she just laid there like she was scared. I put her on the floor again and she walked like she was drunk again. I held her for a few more minutes and then she was fine.
She played with the other dog for about 10 minutes and then they both laid down for a nap. She has been just fine ever since this happened.
This happened about 6:00 pm last night..as of 12:00 noon today she has been her normal self. Of course if it happens again I'll take her straight to the vet, but she seemed okay after it happened.
Any thoughts?
