She does look rather thin. You should be able to see the last couple ribs but not her backbone. She may have a parasite and you don't know it. I am glad you are taking her to the vet. Let us know what they say. By the way she is gorgeous!!

I think she looks perfectly normal for 10 month old boxer. I really don't think it is anything to worry about. It is much better that she be a little thin looking than overweight.

How is her energy level? I find this to be more informative than appearance. If she is a bouncy boxer than I wouldn't worry too much. Does she act like she is starving? How are her stools (ie., firm or loose)?

Just seen your photo's and personally I would not say that she looks to thin but if I were you I would be the same way as far as thinking that 30 pounds for 10 month's old seems a little on the light side.

On the other hand my Samantha is 10 month's old and weighs 60 pounds. Samantha to me she is short and stocky rather than tall and lean like your baby.

As long as she is active and seems in good spirits I would not worry about it but a vet visit might be in order just for you to have her checked and get some peace of mind.

Good Luck and please keep us posted.

I agree that looking at your photos, she doesn't look too thin. She looks in similar body condition and probably size as our Baxter. Mind you, Baxter is only 4 months and weighs 35 pounds, but he is apparently tall for his age. Sometimes when I look at him I think he is a bit thin but the vet says he is in perfect condition for a growing pup. From what I can gather, Boxers can grow at very different rates and perhaps your girl is just a slow developer. However, I would probably just get her checked out to be on the safe side and give you peace of mind. Good Luck!

she's beautiful!
she looks very healthy.
I have a 6 year old boxer girl who only weighs 20Kilograms (i think that's about 40 pounds). Like other people have said, she might just be small.
