about 3 more bumps appeared and now they are all gone, spontaneously overnight they disappeared. Her fur is VERY shiny in the areas the bumps were though. Weird.
there are a lot of really good posts on crate training and making sure that they are accustomed to the crate and develop a "den" attachment.
Our boxers love their kennel, take naps in there, or chew on their bones.
As far as escaping...check to make sure it is assembled properly and latched...
Outdoor Kennel
We built an outdoor kennel (9'x14') with an doghouse 4'x8'x22" that is accessible by a storm doggy door and has a heater for cold weather days. Seems to do the trick with minimal damage to the house and none to the dogs.
This past Friday we came home after about 3 hours of being out and silly me I didn't latch the kennel fully.
Both Dogs were romping through the house and happy as could be when we got home... but my pumpkin was gone, the pumpkin I was going to use to make pumpkin pie.
It was about 5 pounds...
