my exp last year Gabe turned 1. I tried to introduce him to our pool. he did not like it at all. i dont see him ever going in the pool on his own. i dont know if there are any methods to teach them that the water is OK. if anyone had any success, i would be interested to know.

yeah it's personality galore. it's great. he seems to have those "almost human" qualities. i get such a kick out of it.

we all know that boxers are clowns, but Gabe really makes me laugh sometimes. and i cant help but to break out and laugh at him. most of the times when i do this, he barks at me. i feel bad, but i cant help it. i wonder if he feels like im making fun of him.

aha... interesting. yeah we will have a crate for the yorkie. Gabe can be overzealous so i will be cautious

very interesting. yeah i dont usually keep a water bowl for him all day long. only certain times, so it is very possible he is just trying to get his fill. i have tried to leave water bowls down for him in the past and he just makes a big mess of it. and it makes me feel a little better that...

Gabe is just about 1 year old. He has not done a number 2 in the house for at least 5 months. His peeing on the other hand is a different story. It's gone around my household as an arguement on many levels. I figure i would ask everyone here. I take Gabe out like once every two hours or so...

for now, i put him back in the front yard. he is such a different dog in the front yard.

those are some good ideas. our backyard isnt fenced in enough for him to come and go as he pleases. when i let him loose, he ends up all over the neighborhood and running all over the street. that's no good. i was just wondering if anyone had this issue. i agree it's some for of separation, but...
