My dog Tyson had Hystiocytoma right outside of his ear. A member on boxer world say that Betandine should dry it out. I use it for about 3 weeks. I scrubbed it twice a day and not it's completely gone:) Sayra

I use K-9 Advantix on Tyson and it works wonderful for him. i first tried Frontline on him and it didn't do the job. Maybe try switching him back to Frontline if you like the way it worked on him.. Good luck Sayra

Thanks Becky. I guess I will just keep an I on it. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse. Is there any over the counter medication that I could put on it?

There are several possibilities. Did Tyson scratch or injure himself somehow? Could it be a patch that is in the process of healing? Other possibilities are allergies, though I'm not sure about scapping and allergies, and mange. Does he have any other bald patches on his face or front legs...or...
