He is 3 months old and does not respon to his name, which we call him by all the time. What is wrong with him?

My 8 week old puppy has hurt his rear leg today. I dont know how. It is very sensitive when I touch it and he keeps it raised. He weighs 8lbs. Can I give him an aspirin and if so how much. Any other advice is welcome Thanks
