thanks everyone. by way of background, we just got our baby about a month and a half ago so she was almost 2 when she came to live with us. her lifestyle definitely changed. she was crated a lot with her previous owners and was one of 5 dogs. her only exercise was running around in a small...
our baby has all of a sudden developed a destructive habit that she hasn't had before. in the span of a few days she destroyed a pair of sunglasses, a plastic contact case, an aluminum soda can, a bar of soap, and a good sized block of cheese. this has all happened when we are not...
I've noticed the same thing - she's been urinating more often and is producing a lot more. glad to hear it's normal! she also had diahrea, but that's gotten better. this is the first day that we're leaving her home alone and I'm almost certain that we'll find a little wet surprise when we...
we picked our baby up from the vet yesterday (tuesday). she was spayed on monday and stayed over night. everything went fine. her incision looks good and she is acting fairly normal, though not jumpy thankfully...she ate well last night and this morning (we feed solid gold holistique, mixed...
I can sympathize with you! mine went in yesterday. we are picking her up today (our vet keeps all spays overnight). I, too, was so worried that she would think that we were giving her back because she slept in a crate with her previous owners and now sleeps in bed with us. we'll just have to...
the GL is fantastic!! my 2 yr. old girl took a little while to get used to it, but now it's working great. not only does she not pull, but she listens to me so much better!
thanks so much for your help everyone! we are on top of the ACE issue - have already discussed it with the vet. we will make it work so someone is home with her all day.
we started using it after our baby had an aggression incident and it is so great!! she didn't like it at first, but now she is used to it. our walks are so much better!! she doesn't pull and is so much more controlled. the person who invented this thing is an angel!!!!
we have an appointment for our two year old to get spayed on monday. we bring her to the vet at 7:30 a.m. and pick her up the next morning. is it critical that someone be home with her all day after we pick her up? I'm not sure what to expect. my husband and I are trying to work out our...
yeah. we have been really careful since the incident. rather than taking her on long walks in the neighborhood, we are walking around with her at the soccer field accross the street. so she still gets her exercise, but in a far less populated area.
