what's right? need help I dont know what to do! please help (long)

The best interest of the dog is the right thing. My advice is to contact the owner of the dog. (Let the fact that he is a friend be an advantage in being able to contact, not a disadvantage - I know that may be hard, but you have to make it happen). Once you do that, just tell him the truth...

    Look at Buddy's new page

Looks like Buddy is a good skipper. He looks a lot like my Oscar. ------------------ Owner of 1yro, 85lb, male fawn boxer named Oscar. www.Sublime-Dog.com

    new pictures :)

Great to see a boxer w/ a tail. It's sad to say what rarity that is. I can't imagine what it looks like when you first see her when you come home. ------------------ Owner of 1yro, 85lb, male fawn boxer named Oscar. www.Sublime-Dog.com

    Boxers and Cats

We have 2 cats living w/ our Boxer. The older cat thinks he is crazy and basically tolerates him. If the cat has to he can put the dog in his place, cats are tougher than you think, and the dog learns quickly. However the second cat, which is just 6 mos old, loves the boxer. Follows him...

I saw some boxer puppies today

Makes me sick to see any puppies for sale in the petstore. Stuck in little cages, teased by people who take them out and play w/ them, and put them back. And more than likely they come from a puppy farm. Those places are scary. Often times these dogs end up at shelters because they were...

    Angus hated Santa

We took our Oscar Petsmart last Christmas for a photo that was turned into a christmas ornament. He was only 3 mos. old then, so cute. But the best picture was when he got his picture taken w/ the Easter bunny. We put that pic on his webpage. We'll have to get a good picture like that w/...

Do your boxers get hyper with their toys?

my boxer is definately crazy w/ his toys. The thing that bothers me is that when he is finally tired of playing he lays down and proceeds to destroy his toys. He's like Jimi Hendrix at the end of the concert- smashing and lighting his toy on fire. Well he doesn't really use fire, but he likes...

Does your boxer puppy growl at you?

I would do what you can do discourage this behavior, but I think that this is something that a lot of young ones do. Eventually she will probably grow out of it. There was a time when anytime you touched my puppy he would do his very best to bite you. But he grew out of it. I think that at that...

Travis is being neutered tomorrow :-(

I agree w/ a few posts above, Make sure you see them write NO ACE and follow up and make sure that they know you mean it. I told them not to use it, and they did. Well he didn't make it into surgery that day and was out of it for a while. :( We then obviously changed vets and got the job...

    non-drooly boxers

Our boxer drools only after he drinks and also when he's out playing (like China mentioned above). It's funny, he usually gets a big line of spit between his nose and eyes somehow. Looks pretty funny. ------------------ Owner of 1yro, 85lb, male fawn boxer named Oscar. www.Sublime-Dog.com

Does you boxer hide from you?

That is funny. I have to say that our boxer doesn't hide from us. I think he has too much separation anxiety to deal w/ something like that, lol. ------------------ Owner of 1yro, 85lb, male fawn boxer named Oscar. www.Sublime-Dog.com

Does your boxer sigh at you?

Our boxer sighs all the time too. But the funniest thing happened the other day. We put him in his crate and he sighed and lied down. Except that when he sighed, he farted at the same time. We were laughing over that for a while. :D ------------------ Owner of 1yro, 85lb, male fawn boxer...
