    change in behavior?

Since Rudy was about 3-4 months old, he's been doing really well with the potty training (he's about 5 months now). We live in a second story condo and at the top of the stairs we have some Christmas bells that he rings to let us know he has to go out. Every time he rings them, we take him...

    Boxer Traits

Rudy has all of the same traits as mentioned before......woo woo song, kidney beaning, laying on back.... He also snores really, really loudly! I can't count how many times he has woken us up! It is so cute! Other times, while he is sleeping, he will bark or run :) Another thing we can...

    Excuse my ignorance, but...

The woo woo song is just as wonderful as the kidney bean dance! I'll never forget the first time we heard it! We couldn't stop laughing. :D Of course, at the time we didn't know it had a name. Rudy is 12 weeks old now and finding his voice--the woo woo is getting better every day :o

crate training schedule for working couple - critique me, please!

I couldn' t help laughing when I read this message thread. As a first time home owner (well condo), I was so excited when I was finally able to get a pet. My husband and I both work during the day, but we had the same schedule picked out that the original poster outlined. We thought we were...

    Infection in fractured ankle?

sorry to hear about your baby. it sounds like it's time to get a second opinion. My puppy, Rudy, has a cast on his leg right now for a leg fracture, but the Doctor's and tech vets have been overwhelmingly nice and easy to work with. I can't imagine what you are going through - a vet should...

    puppy with broken leg

Our Dr. recommended, as an alternate solution, putting a pin in his leg, however, discouraged us from taking this route because it was unnecessary. He actually had two fractures and she thought that a cast was the best way to keep him from damaging his leg any further. Because he is...

    puppy with broken leg

Shawn, I so appreciate your comments about potty training a puppy with a cast on his back leg. It's especially fun in the rain! When he gets his cast off, I think I'll miss the circle dance that he does when he's trying to squat and balance at the same time. It's pretty cute.
