My puppy is now 18 weeks old and has been on Canidae pretty much since we've got him. And I'm really not too pleased with the results that I'm getting with the food. He has tons of gas, eye boogies, and his coat isn't as soft as I'd like it to be. I found a local pet store that carries Wellness...

Doggy Cologne, for in between baths works good with us. We use a baby powder scented one for our puppy. They've got all types of different fragrances though.

Phoenix ~ Pheen Bully Wiggle Wiggle He got the nickname Bully the first day we brought him home. I think we would have named him that if I hadn't already spent the money to have his name tag make. lol.

Phoenix ~ Born on November 16, 2004, Weight right now at 15 weeks is 23 lbs., Food is Canidae, Favorite toy would definately have to be the two kitties! That's probably not the best toy but to him it is.

I don't think that it's cruel to the dog. Our dog had his done about a month ago and he's doing fine. Just be prepared for all the after work. I think there's a picture of Phoenix the day after his surgery in my gallery. He was back to his normal hyper self.
