I have a 10 month old doberman pinscher as well and she is even picking up his digging traits..its so funny because when they see that i am watching them dig they freeze up and clumps of sod fall out of their mouths! Its cute but i need it to stop

i have a 12 wk old and he is just now getting out of the whiney stage. I think it was separation anxiety. Granted he still has his whining moments but its getting better than before.
