Apparantly, Animal Control says that if they take the animals, they will be put to sleep (which I think would be a better option than how they are currently living.) I am in hopes that if Boxer Rescue gets involved and contacts Animal Control so they know they will have a place for the dogs...

Hi - I just heard of boxers being abused in Southeast Iowa. Does anyone know if there is a rescue in that area? Animal control has made a visit and demanded shelter, but there is a small puppy involved and they are still in horrible conditions. Any ideas from anyone?

Thank you both for your responses. Unfortunately (fortunately) Zorro never goes when we are home. He only pees when we are gone, and sometimes he doesn't even pee then. I really don't think he HAS to go, I am wondering if it is an anxiety problem? Thanks again for your help.
