She did take her to the vet and they said they did not know why she did not produce enough milk and that they could not find anything wrong with her. Just because the mother had a problem does not make her a back yard breeder. I talked to my own vet and he said the first time could have been...

I have a friend who's female does not produce enough milk. She said that in her first litter only 3 nipples had milk and the rest where empty. In her second litter only 1 nipple had milk. What can cause this and is there supplements to help her produce more milk. I had never heard of this before.
