I volunteer for a boxer rescue and one of our adopted boxers has possibly been diagnosed with this, and it is apparently very rare. We are looking for any information the awesome community of Boxerworld folks may have - experience, prognosis, anything would be helpful. Thanks!

Toby & Lucy use the firewood for chew sticks as well....makes a big mess, usually right after I finish vacuuming - constantly taking them away and redirecting with a kong.

Even at 12 y/o Tenaia hated the rain! She would glare at me & simply stop & pee on the top step outside the door & run back in to rub what little moisture she had onto the sofa! I miss her soooo much ='(

My 2 would go at it on occasion, though there was always a subtle cue it was coming, so I was able to step in and separate them before it got ugly...generally a minute change in posturing or the way they would look at each other - and usually food, or the mere smell of an incompletely cleaned up...

Hmmm...maybe you can try teaching him some "high chair" games like you might with a child? Just a thought, but boxers are smart.......maybe get him to learn mommmy/daddy's nose, ears, etc (though at 70 lbs you may get a black eye if he paw points too hard lol)...play kissing games - peek-a-boo...

Important note, but missed out on edit timing... I forgot to mention, in April, her pre-surgical full blown lab panels showed no abnormalities or elevations whatsoever (except her thyroid, which was expected as she had been dosed that morning just before going to the vet).

Given what I just went throiugh, and Tenaia started with the same incontinence issues as well as going on and off food (after a short while she started eating like she was being starved & started stealing from the others if they walked away from their dishes), I would definitely have the liver...
