what to do for small booboo on paw pad?

I agree...but as long as you keep it clean and check it, it should get better relatively quickly. Good Luck.

    Max & hives...(again)

Maybe you should think about having him allergy tested. It can cost a good bit of money but my Lillian improved so much after being tested. You will have to give injections but it keeps them from having and suffering with the allergies. Good luck.

10mo old and died - why?!?!?

I'm sorry to hear your terrible news. My first boxer Lillian had cardiomyopathy and died at 2 and 1/2. I was totally devistated. But I loved her so much that I thought I needed to get another boxer as soon as possible because I thought it would make me feel better. A few days later I got...

    sudden death

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my first boxer when she was 2 and 1/2 of cardiomyopathy. She had several health problems during her life but we thought they were under control. I was out of town when she passed...she was at my parent's house. My Mom thought there was a problem...

    Hives?

My first boxer Lillian would breakout into hives very often. Unlike humans, dogs show their allergies in their skin where as we get the sniffles. I finally had to have her allergy tested to find out what she was allergic to...she was allergic to almost everything including me! Several types of...

uh oh... i got my mom in trouble!

Hey Jojo, Isabella here, I used to do that kind of stuff until my mommy started to crate me. I learned pretty quick after that not to eat and tear up mommy's stuff. Now I have a little brother, golden retriever, who does all that good stuff but I know better. I just watch him do it now and he...

    Boxers...Dumb??? Untrainable???...

One of the boxer's traits is that they can be very stubborn. My Isabella has a short attention span adn may not always do what I want her to but that's just the breed. She is now 2 and 1/2 and is trained to do many things and can understand many things that we tell her. It just takes a lot of...

    How much rest?

Some boxers like humans are more lazy than others. I would just make sure that they were given the opportunity to romp and play. You may have to give a little extra effort to make sure they get some exercise like playing in the yard together, etc. They are just like us when it comes to exercise...

    The Best Flea/worm Treatment-urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that with any new product there could be a problem with certain breeds. My boxer takes the injections well, as well as, my golden retreiver. My vet breeds and owns several boxers. I got my love of boxers while working for her and my first boxer came from one of her litters. She would not...

Is he to old to neuter?

It will be fine to neuter him. He will have less chance of prostate cancer and testicular cancer if you go ahead and do it. The longer a male lives with his parts, the higher the chance of this type of cancer. He probably won't know the difference when he gets neutered. He has already had all...

    The Best Flea/worm Treatment-urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!

My vet recommends Advantage over the new Frontline Plus. The new Plus doesn't work as well as the old Frontline. Advantage is only for fleas though and Frontline works on adult fleas and ticks. The pills like Program or Sentinel only sterilize the eggs of fleas and don't kill the adults that are...
