Bite Me!!... I have attitude.

Need I say anymore?? What an attitude.
Ahhh I love your sweet face... is this a Christmas collar? We had one with Bells on it too that I put on Riley for Christmas, I used to call him my jiggle boy.. He prob didn't like it as much as I did I think he would have the same look as your fur babie and be thinking "the things I have to wear to get a cookie around here"

Thank you, yes it is a Christmas collar and I got it at Petsmart. I love putting fun collars like this on her...it makes her look adorable! I think your Riley is sweet looking too! Aren't boxers just the best doggies ever!! Thanks again for the nice comments.

I want to thank you too for all your nice comments in Our photo gallery too.. I really miss Riley so much.. Cody has really been a blessing b/c he has helped so much in easing our sorrow over loosing Rye, and there is just something special about the boxer breed.. As only another boxer owner/lover can understand.. Isn't BW the best I'm grateful for this awesome site and the awesome caring supportive members.. They are truly wonderful.. ((Hugs))to you and beautiful Zoey

I don't know how you did it with Riley. It must be very, very hard. Riley was adorable and little Cody is so precious. I just found out that Zoey has a rare muscle disease called polymyositis. I had a biospy on her and it came back that she has that rare muscle disease. It really suck, but she seems to be doing ok because she's on predisone. It's a wonder drug, however, she's starting to put on weight from the drug. I'm praying that everything will turn out ok for her....so far, so good. I couldn't image my life without her....I'm sure you can understand this. Yeah, the Boxerworld site is really cool. You have a lot of really nice photos in your gallery. Cody is just so precious. Enjoy!

I think I owe BW a lot of credit for having this site and all the great members who help to get us through the rough times. I still have my moments, but I have to try and reflect on Rileys wonderful memories
Oh No I'm so sorry to hear that news about your Zoey.. I'll do a search on it to find out more about it. I know even with Cody having a slight heart murmur that turned into a heart valve problem called SAS It was upsetting, the thought of loosing another furbabie, that we all come to know & love.. right now I will take one day at a time and hope he does okay with it. and just make the most what ever time we're allowed to have him in our family I hope it is a very long time, but I also have learned that one of the saddest part about owning a boxer is the many diseases and health issues that this breed seems to get.. But I know I can't dwell on all the sad stuff, we must think of all the joy that we had in our lives b/c of them being in it.. and they do give us lots of joy smiles and their wonderful boxer lovin, which is one of the great things about this breed they love you with their all.
I think Rye was on predisone too while in the hospital to supress his Immune system. I've heard that it can be a wonder drug. Keeping You & Zoey in our prayers and our fingers, crossed for Zoey.. OOPs another book.. Dont you wish they had chat rooms or better ways to talk to other members besides leaving long messsages in your photo gallery.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean....you live one day at a time and hope for the best. I have done a lot of resource on the disease Zoey has and it's extremely rare for boxers to get it. Polymyositis is muscle disease that basically attacks her immune system. It started right after Christmas last year where her jaw locked up and she couldn't open her mouth. I panicked big time!! After many, many test and then the biopsy, that's when they found she had polymyositis. It basically effects all the muscles in her body, but starts in her jaw area. The predisone is really, really helping her and now she has full use of her jaw again. She'll be on the predisone for at least 6 months and hopefully the disease will go into remission. However, she could have relapses. I so love little Zoey, that'd I'd be devasted if anything happened to her. She's like a little person to me. She goes everywhere I go except for work, of course. But if I could take her there, I would. I'm sorry to hear Cody has a heart mumor. I hope everything will be ok too. Yes, it is hard, isn't it? You worry so much about these little creatures because you're not sure if they're in pain or not. Zoey's not even 2 yet, and she has a major health issue already. But, like you said, you live day by day and love them as much as you can and hope and pray for the best. Best wishes for you and Cody too!! If you want to stay in touch with me, my email address is donna.schaut@snc.edu We could compare boxer stories and I'd love to hear from you too. I just downloaded 2 more photos of Zoey. By the way, I LOVE that name "Cody". Cody sure is cute too. I'm sure Cody will be fine. Till later, me and zoey.

Boxerworld,
Oops, I didn't realize I couldn't give out my email address. Please delete it for me. Sorry, won't happen again. Thank you.
