When we gave Siren a raw bone last September - we didn't realize that it was also so very attractive to bee's - and they stung the heck out of her face. She didn't care - she just kept chewing away. Her eyes swelled shut and she had a hard time breathing through her nose. She was so pitiful - but some children's benadryl put her to sleep and brought the swelling down. Guess what happened the next day? She found the bone and got stung all over her face again. She was adamant that it was HER bone!!
Cholbert, what a story! Luckyly here the bees are not interested in these bones, our chickens are... Well, our boxers are friends with our chickens, so they can taste the same bone together at the same time.
