Thank you for the nice comments...I was looking through your pics of Riley, and I read that "he was taken from you so soon". If you don't mind me asking, why? As of today, I am waiting for lab results to come back for my Leo, because the other day, he seemed to have fainting episode...out of nowhere. We're checking to see if he has anything wrong with his heart. He's soooo young, only 6 months, and I am PRAYING this is not the case. Just wondering if anything similar happened to your baby, Riley.

IMs, Riley died from ITP which is a Immune disease where your own Blood cells attack the good cells and both his Red count and white platletts were in the dangerously low numbers You need platlets to clot your blood, He started to bleed internally and since blood carries oxygen to the rest of your body he would just collaps from not getting enough oxygen carried by his blood: The Special Internal Vet said could of had an underlying secondary problem like Cancer: But we had to work on what was going on at the moment which was the ITp and sadly it can sometimes prove to be fatal. We tried so hard to save him with blood transfusions and all kinds of Meds he was in a Vet hospital for 6 days but he just couldn't make a turn around from his illness and he went down hill fast.
