Hello, my beautiful little girl was overcome with severe hip dysplasia so much so that she could hardly walk and had to be carried. We had to make the terrible decision to have her put to sleep. She was 7 years old but was a total joy every minute we were blessed to have her. We did have one of her daughters, Percy, who lived to be 12 years ago but like her mother was overcome by the hip dysplasia. It was very heart wrenching to have to make that terrible decision again as she too was the light of my life as was her mother. The hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but had to think if I were keeping them alive for me or for them. They were both in so much pain, and unable to even walk, even with all of this making the decision was devastating. Unfortunately we lost her last July, however (and some people think I am odd for this) I had her cremated and I keep her mahogany box out with a boxer statue and picture above. Although neither of my girls are here they are still loved, cherished and missed dearly.
