Just fyi, our moose here in Utah let us get about 10 feet away w/o any problems and are often curious of the dogs. Only had one cow protecting her calf charge at us. I ran like a little girl for a few quick steps and looked around for the pups. I looked back and the pups didn\'t budge, just held they\'re ground. The cow immediately held back and withdrew. Just when you wonder if they would actually protect you. disclaimer: For all the animal activists, we didn\'t seek out the moose, she was hidden next to our running trail.
