What is meant by the term "soft" hocks. I heard this term used recently at a match I attended and was not sure what they meant. Also, if you had a pic it would help as I am a very visual learner. Thanks a bunch.

This one is tough to describe.

Soft hocks are sometimes called slipped hocks or double-jointed hocks. It's an over extension of the hock joint. I think of it as the rear leg version of "down in the pastern". At least that's my understanding of it.
