i am getting ready to order sams ~ i keep forgetting to measure him again ( want to make sure accurate )
i have to order my pull harness from the pet store - they didnt have any with "d" rings for my "stops" tha poles that will stop the wagon from re-ending them.
when starting you boys out - take it slow - add ONE pole to the harness, let them drag that. then add second , darg again ( lots of treats ) then when comfy with all that - , i like to add some cans ( with pennies in them ) to rattle around behind them , i promise you will get some jumping around ( its normal ) but you want this with the poles on the ground - NOT THE CART ! if it happens with the cart , they can get hurt or become fearful of the whole thing.
this is how we cart train the horses ~ of course this is my 1st time with the dogs - but i feel the process is the same !!
