Well, we weren't sure what Kato, 11 1/2 weeks, swallowed whole, but nearly 24 hours later, a 1 ft + sock went past 3 meals and several cups of water (through the mouth, I should add). Not a drop of kibble was lost. Our kindergartener was the only witness, and we were skeptical that such a tiny puppy could swallow a sock whole. He was only out of our sight for a second, we thought. We had been singing happy birthday to my husband. He must have eaten a napkin, we agreed. Nope, it wasn't a napkin. It was a bloody knee sock! Our older boxer, 8 1/2 years, is an angel. Apparently God thought it was funny to trick us into thinking all boxers are just as perfect.
