Once daily feeding?

Finn is turning 1 year old this month. I have transitioned him from puppy food to a high-quality kibble. At this time, I am still feeding him twice per day. Should I reduce this to one feeding per day or keep him on twice a day? Thank you in advance for your comments!

Yes twice a day is best , however Roge is not overly fond of his kibble in the morning and only eats a small ammount so his evening meal is much bigger and he also gets a dental stick before bed .. Find what works with Fin , they are all different

Thank you, Helen. I've had dogs all my life and always fed them once a day and it seemed to work for them, but Finn is my first Boxer. He's definitely different than any other dog I've had...in a good way! I want to be sure I do what's best for him. Thanks again!

Hey guys, i just got another boxer puppy and i am feeding him a grain free diet which he's done very well on. My question is how often should i feed? I work during the day and check on him during lunch. He is 7 weeks old- i know it's too young the people who i got him from lied about his age to me.

If you can do 4 times a day great, but at the least 3 times a day for that age. I know you probably already know this, but, divide the suggested daily amount from the back of the bag into 3 servings, don't feed the daily serving 3 times. You wouldn't believe the number of times I've had clients who were feeding 3 times a day ask me why their puppy wasn't eating all its food and it turns out they weren't just feeding 3 times a day but were also feeding 3 times the suggested daily portion! It is always funny because they are so concerned that their pups aren't eating enough but one look at their roly-poly pups and I know something is up.
