Need Help/Information on Brain Tumors and Strokes

Aimee, I'm sorry seems so inadequate. Everyday I have to fight with my 6yr old to get him to wake up & get ready for school. He always balks and I tell him he has to do it because I do not have my magic wand to make it happen. Now I am wishing for a magic wand to make Baxter better. I had to stop and look at all the party pictures with the Knowles boys and he has the sweetest face. You guys are in my prayers and please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

I can't tell you how sorry I am that Bax is not doing well. All I can say is that I and the rest of BW are here to help in any way we can.

Never forget that you have made these last few years the best years of his life and he knows that. Shower him with hugs and kisses from Cookie and I and continue to spoil him as you always have.

We will say a prayer that the other lump is nothing to worry about and that you can start him on the other meds ASAP and he has good results.

It has gone from bad to worse. The neurologist called and the radiologist has read the MRI. In addition to the brain tumor and the one on the left side of his larynx, the radiologist has found a tumor in Baxter's right thryoid gland and also one at the base of his skull in a lymph node. The neurologist said we are dealing with metastatic disease. The neurologist is consulting with the oncologist now so again we sit and wait. I'm devestated.
