Corn oil

My boxer is very gassy, much more than my other boxer we had. I know they have sensitive stomachs & we feed him natures recipe, sensitive stomach food. A vet tech told me to put a tablespoon of corn oil in his food & it would help with the gas & his coat & skin would be better too. Does anyone know any info about corn oil & dogs? I couldnt find much info which i searched the internet.

I don't like the idea of corn oil. I'd get him off Nature's Recipe ASAP. I have my boy on Blue Buffalo, he has a super sensitive stomach and he does fine. I think it has to do with the food more than anything.
