My puppy is 24 weeks old today and is very healthy and active. He is also very clumsy. Marley falls pretty hard when he trips indoors. The sound is so loud on the hardwood floors that you would think that he would have broken a leg and I am so glad that he hasn't.
When I purchased him, I started him on blue buffalo chicken and brown rice and he developed digestion issues with it (throwing up, diarrhea, loose stools). So I did my homework and now he is on Fromm puppy. He has gone through (3) 15lb.bags of the large puppy and woofed it down. I like that his coat is shines and he is an alert little puppy at I'm guessing 27 lbs. (he was 25 lbs. last month when he received his rabies tag)
When this present bag is emptied, I plan to start Marley on Solid Gold's Hund-in-Flocken Adult dry as well as the Bixbi organic Immunity supplement.
I may forego the Bixbi if I can find spirulina either as a supplement or in the dog food itself. I am looking into recipes also.
I just want to be proactive when it comes to my little pup. Although his parents have no health issues, I know that boxers are prone to heart and cancer ailments.
