Once every 5 days he gets a raw dinner meal: heart or chicken, etc.., I add some 4 grained-rice and 2 slices of brown bread to it.., and some slices of apple for vitamins.. Any other tips to add there ? I got some hints of a raw egg and some olives oil on a dutch boxer maillist..

I take him on a trip once a week or so, really depends.. And he really doesn't like the car anymore because of it, I have to carry him in, he won't get in by himself.. Though I bet that as soon as I do a few trips to the woods with him that'll pass by :D

Same here, if we come home shopping and hold a set of bags, Unda will go crazy.., his tail (aye, ours has a full tail, legally not allowed to take it off anymore at birth here in the Netherlands) will swoop like a whip and he'll go for the bags at once :D

Our 5 month old pup hates his crate too.. The crate is great as long as the door is open, he'll nap in it, just rest in it, but the moment the door closes, it's panic mode.. It starts with a frightened look, then come some soft squeeks, followed by barking, howling and going wild until...

It took a month or so for our cat to get used to the boxer pup, after that they just played around with eachother.. Just make sure the cat has a place to escape to where the dog can't get her.. It's all a matter of patience from there
