Thanks for such a nice answer. You're right, I tend to let myself be upset when he is disobedient, Theo sees that and it gives him one more reason to avoid me. Adding to that, Theo hates his leach and would do anything to not be at the end of it. I'll try to put your advices in practice...

Lol, sounds silly without further precisions, I know! I am teaching him a maximum of tricks to do on command and one of the coolest, I think, is to bark. On top of that, barking on command can reveal itself to be very usefull to scare off burglars.

Interesting, I didn't hear about that one. I just looked over some websites retracing the history of the breed and many attribute the english name to the dog's instinct to use it's front paws when at play and fighting. The mystery lives on though...

I heard something like that too!!! They used to be fighting dogs and it seemed as though they were throwing punches at each others. I believe that's the reason but I am unsure, anyone knows?
