I've had Tally on the James Wellbeloved for just over a week and her skin and ears seem to be improving every day. Heres hoping it continues.

The more I read on the site the more I think you're right it is food allergies, so far I have been feeding her a mix of Pedigree tin and dry food. I am going to change it over, I have seen the list of recommended complete foods, however had some difficulty sourcing many of them...

Thanks for that info re food allergies, I'll change Tally over and see if that makes a difference, it may save money in the longer term for more vet bills

She developed a very bad ear infection and visited vet yesterday, is on antibiotics, drops and painkillers now. Vet thinks it is ear mites! will need to go back at the end of the week

Tally is six months old and for the last couple of weeks has been scratching at her ears a lot. The skin does feel a bit dry and when she scratches they can go a bit red

Our new pup (now 4 1/2 months old) and cat are still trying to get used to each other, basically our cat stays well out of her way and when Tally sees him she tries to run and play, a couple of times the cat has hit out but not to scratch just to put her off.
