i pick up rocky ffm on mon 3/28 and i have been reeding the posts on this thread and it seems alot of emphasis is being placed on letting him interact with as many other dogs as possible. i know socialization is important but is it more important for him to socialize with alot of different dogs...

i am picking up my new boxer pupppy in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone could give me any info on a good puppy preschool on long island in ny preferably eastern nassau or western suffolk area.
My husband and I are buying a boxer and he wants the ears cropped because he likes the way it looks I think it's cruel to put the dog, especially a puppy through that. Any thoughts - do the dogs really suffer alot - or am I over-reacting?
