I was looking at Rosco's teeth last night and noticed that he had a severe underbite. Is this normal for Boxers? Everytime he's been to the vet I get complemented on his health / coat. The vet looks in his mouth everytime but has never said anything.
Thanks
Steve
Sorry to thread-jack here but I have an ear question. Rosco is 5 months old and we are going to leave his ears natural. He has one ear that hangs down normal and the other kinda sticks out. Will the ear fix itself as he gets older? I have seen the taping / massaging method for natural ears and...
Thanks for the replies. Like I said before, I have had 2 rottweillers who were much easier to train. I will keep patiently working with Rosco on his training. What really surprised me was that he learned the "stay" command much quicker than anything else.
Rosco is 4 months now and responds to his name being called ( most of the time ). As of now he will do the following on command ( again most of the time ): sit, stay and shake. My question is there are times when he absolutely will not respond to his name being called or when commanded to "stay"...
I may get blasted for this but here goes. Rosco is 4 months now and very healthy with a beautiful coat. I am feeding him Nutros Ultra Adult kibble for his morning and afternoon meals ( mixed with a raw egg twice a week ). For his evening meal I usually feed him chicken necks / backs ( without...
Totallyhip,
I have a 12 week old that is currently on Nutros. I was thinking of going to raw and was surprised to read that you can do it for around $50.00 a month. Would you mind posting an example of what you feed in a few days.
Thanks,
Steve
Can I assume that offal is beef and chicken internal organs? If so, is one more nutritious than the other?
Thanks again for your help / knowledge,
Steve
Thanks for the suggestion on feeding the kibble separate, I would have never thought of the different digestive times. Also, this may be a dumb question but what is offal?
Rosco is 12 weeks old and has been on Nutros Max. His coat looks great and yesterday he weighed in @25 lbs for his last set of puppy shots. I was thinking about feeding a raw / kibble diet combo. Is this a wise thing to do, and if so what would be the best way to do it. What do you guys think...
Thanks for the quick reply and the link, it was very helpful. Although I still don't understand why the raised dish's cause bloat I am going to put Rosco's back to ground level.
Thanks again,
Steve
