Took Pete to the Dr. and he has a pinched nerve. The vet gave him a shot and some meds to help relieve the discomfort. He said from not using his leg much due to the arthritis in his back also affects the nerves after a while and causes them to start weakening. He seems to feel much better...

I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow. I will worry myself to death if I don't find out the underlying cause of his problem. Thanks for the advise.

Pete, our 9 1/2 year old boxer has always had some arthritis in his knee and back. Last night we noticed that he drags his left foot when he is walking. He doesn't seem to be in pain. It was really rainy here yesterday and then turned cold. I know this doesn't make his arthritis feel good...
