How do you eventually stop using the Gentle Leader?

Thank you for all the responses on this, really helpful! I have tried the easy walk on Brutus but they didn’t seem to fit him right. I tried the large first and it was too big especially that strap that went over his back, then I went and bought the medium and it was too small. Neither fit...

    Tile Floors and injuries

Brutus has come to like the tile floors to slide on. He will sometimes get a running start into the kitchen for a toy then slide to a stop. He has a couple of times hit the cabinets because he could not stop in time but it has never really hurt him. We have considered putting rugs in there so...

Brutus is 7 months and started to pull quite a bit about a month or two ago. I began using the gentle leader and immediately noticed a difference! The only thing is every time I walk him without the GL, he goes back to pulling and pulling hard. I have read on here that you are only to use the...

    At what point do we...

Brutus would also get bored if I just did one command with him over and over. So I would do a couple at a time such as sit, stay and come. Then because you are suppose to keep the training sessions short, the next session I would practice other commands and change it up.
