    Food transistion underway!

Hey all- We are many weeks into a meld/transition. I fed Innova from the onset and then when Rox got sick, I went raw for a week. She did perfectly on raw. I transitioned to Orijen, but Rox had the runs the first few days (and so did the cats who also eat Orijen (Red bag). Now they all...

    Puppy sleeping with us

Our Roxy is 13 months old, and she is a beast about the bed. When we first adopted her from the rescue she was badly beaten up with health issues. We slept with her to keep her warm (she was missing a ton of fur) and keep her relatively immobile. I probably should have kept her in the crate...

    Food transistion underway!

Transitioning to Orijen, this weekend - beyond Cami- I decided to give Orijen a try. Do you order from Amazon, or find it locally? I can hit PetPeople on the way home to check it out. How slowly did you transition?

    Food transistion underway!

We like Scioto Audubon Park, but Alum Creek (near Polaris) is relatively huge and has a water feature. I've never been to the bark park, but we are looking forward to getting Rox back out to socialize (she has been isolated for a few weeks). I would really like to expose her to other dogs (and...

    Food transistion underway!

Cami - I have been trying to go through your 4,000+ posts over the last few days. I live in Hilliard, Ohio. I am curious about what you feed, if you rotate, if you take the dogs to a DP (if so, which ones?), and if you know dog friendly businesses in Columbus? I sometimes wonder if I see...

Possible Collitis in 6 month old puppy

I have a post about our giardia/colitis experience in the same forum here... I wanted to say first that I totally understand and can relate to your struggle. I was at the point of talking euthanasia with my girl's vet, when I finally took control of the situation and my girl started getting...

    My Frazier is sick

Barbara I know how you feel. Our vet took 24 hours to get results for cushings (we share the same vet). Cushings is treatable, so that would be great news. I'll send you all my positive energy for a quick response and favorable outcome.

    My Frazier is sick

I'm curious, because my good friend's dog is having the exact issues, if your vet did a test for Cushings?

    The Million Dollar Doggie (digestive/allergies)

Raw was a good decision for us, too. With more high quality protein sources (whole, dressed animals) around the house I am getting to a higher freshness factor for our family (*ADDED BENEFIT*) Although I have no immediate plans to eat chicken spines in my near future, I am thrilled the my dog...

    The Million Dollar Doggie (digestive/allergies)

I really and truly think she was allergic to all or most of the medications. I came home today to another fully formed and solid poo. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm completely bonkers when I cheer at her normal poo :)
