Getting better
Well, I've been trying the baby gates. They are slowly getting use to each other but I can see that this will take time. Laila simply wants to play with them like any young boxer would. They simply don't know she wants to play so they are a little scared. Heck i would be too...
Thanks
I appreciate everyone's help. This has been a very trying time for me and my family. To see my home and my mom's home in New Orleans completely destroyed by the flood waters is painful. I was so happy to find Poppi and Deuce alive when I finally got to the house. I had written them...
I have a dilema. My mom is now living with me. She is from New Orleans and lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. I was able to go to our house in New Orleans last weekend where I found total devastation. By some act of God when i got there I found her 2 cats alive but very hungry after a...
Gradual switch
I'm gradually switching her to Nutro. She seems to love it. She tored thru the bowl yesterday with reckless abandon. I'll mix it for the next week or so until she gets adjusted. I see what you mean about the ingredients. Well, I hope it all works out.
Thanks for the help
I appreciate the advice. I was feeding Purina Puppy Chow but was considering Science Diet. I've read so many varying opinions regarding kibble that I was confused. Again, thanks for the advice.
I have a question that I get varied opinions on regarding puppy chow and dog chow. My puppy is nearly 6 months. At what point should I take her off of puppy chow and start to transition her to dog chow?
Thanks
I appreciate the help. I just wonder how she is so good with me in the house but she looses her mind outside and pulls like one of the worlds strongest men. I have the head halter. It's helped a little. She doesn't like it and fights with it more than anything. I guess it takes time...
I saw that someone posted how this is good for pullers. On this site they don't give you much info on how it works. Does anyone have any info? I'm willing to try anything. My 6 month old pulls so hard she chokes herself and drags me down the street.
I feel your pain
It took my pup about 2 months to finally stop whining in the crate at night. Eventually she stopped though. I think over that 8 week period as she saw that I was checking on her every 3 hours or so and that i would be there to let her out to use the bathroom she began...
My puppy is now 6 months old and getting bigger and stronger everyday. I take her walking every afternoon but she is a serious puller. I'm not a small man but yet at nearly 40 pounds she pulls with such force she nearly drags me. She actually chokes herself she pulls so hard and gets dizzy...
Give it some time
My boxer girl is only 9weeks old. When I first started crating her she would cry and whine non-stop(at least it felt like it. Now at night and during the day when I crate her she goes in with no problem and hardly any whining!
I would puppy proof the bathroom for her and...
Thanks
I appreciate the helpful advice regarding my puppy. I'll have to look into hiring a dog watcher b/c it sounds like that is the best option for her right now. I just didn't want her peeing in the crate to become too much of a habit.
I have a 9 week old and am a single parent who works 8am-5pm. I come home everyday for lunch to let my pup out to use the bathroom but she often uses it in the crate. She doesn't poop just pees in it. At night she never goes in the crate. I take her outside at 10pm to use it and put her in...
