    Overly aggrerssive!

Reply It was a full blown attack. He was biting and snarling and tangling with the mastiff. I can't blame the other dogs reaction, he was just laying in the drive way (on leash) while I was chatting. He also does have friends, about 8 that he plays with regularly. He is out of control when he...

Mack is a 9 month old male that is not neutered, he is supposed to have that done while we are on vacation in August. He just attacked my neighbors mastiff after he let himself out of the house. She and I were talking outside of his view and boom out the door he came and attacked this big fellow...

    Treats advice

A great treat you could give your dog is an ice cube! Our neighbor has a wheaton terrier with IBS and it cannot have treats so , they give him ice. We started this with our dogs and they come flying when they hear the ice maker! Plus, it ia an inexpensive treat. Macks Mom

Our vet told my husband that our 11wk old pup should not have puppy food because it wil make his growth plate slip and eventually cripple him. She said that this only affects boxers and dobermans. According to her the puppy food has too many nutrients and she showed my husband where it had...

    Every Two HOURS???

The first week he would wake me 1X in the middle of the night and then my husband would let him out at 5am, when he left for the day. This is our second week and he is making it through the night until 5am. His crate is next to our bed so I...

    Bell training??

I have several friends that"bell train". I believe the idea is to wiggle the bell (placed on the door knob by a string, long enough for the dog to hit)as you bring the dog out during housebreaking, then once the dog is trained it remembers to ring the bell when he/she needs to go out. I am going...

    Is it too cold?

I have brought him on out on a leash and always praise him for his great behavior while by his side. It is pretty cold here currently... could he get sick? Like I had mentioned, he has the concept, just the wrong door. Also, he wakes me up in the middle of the night so he will not go in the...

    Is it too cold?

I have our first boxer puppy, Mack and he is 11 wks old. I live in Illinois and it is pretty cold here lately so housebreaking is proving tricky. My Mack has been in the garage because he shakes so fiercly outside (even w/ his sweater) that all he does is try to get back in the house instead of...
