Bailey, my 10 week old puppy was doing this when we first got her two weeks ago. The vet gave me a sample of "bitter orange". It looks almost like a lotion. I put it on the leash and she won't mess with it anymore!

Thanks! She went to the vet today and everything went great. She was just a little underweight, but she was the smallest of ten so that could be why!! I have been trying to yelp when she bites me...will just take some getting used to I guess. It is so hard to get mad at that cute little face!

Oops, I forgot to add something. The beach is also a really low key beach. It is all big family houses (no hotels or anything) and some days you will go out in the beach and won't see anyone for miles. So it is not overcrowded with people or anything.

Thanks for the input guys. We will be crate training her and my sister and husband sometimes are not really beach people. Therefore, they could be inside with her quite a bit too!
