    Peeing in Crate

Our puppy is 13 weeks old and has recently started peeing in his crate every time we leave him in there. Here is the situation: -He didn't use to pee in his crate unless we left him in there too long. -Now he pees even if we only leave him in there for two hours. -We are sure that he has...

    Bumps

Mac is back Well, we did end up taking him to the vet. He just wasn't getting better and he was so miserable. They're pretty sure it was a wasp/bee/hornet/whatever sting. They kept him overnight and gave us some daily meds for a while. We didn't know what to do with ourselves when he was gone...

    Bumps

We changed his food a week or two ago and he's been eating the same treats for a long time now. His bumps or hives haven't scabbed over or anything. They were just raised, red bumps that itched him. I know Benadryl is an antihistamine which is why I was confused when they forbade Benadryl...

    Bumps

So we took our pup outside to potty last night and when he came back in we noticed he was starting to become covered in bumps. A close examination under his fur showed that they were red and obviously starting to become itchy. We called the vet, they said to give him a cold bath and Benadryl...

puppy will not stop eating rocks, sticks, leaves... anything!

Our puppy (almost three months) loves to eat rocks, sticks, leaves, brooms, pretty much anything that isn't actually food. We can't even let him off his leash in the back yard because all he will do is eat up a rock and then run from us while he tries to swallow it. This is frustrating...

Pees in front of door in order to be let outside

Our puppy (almost 3 months) was in the process of being housebroken and was coming along nicely until one day he had an accident in front of the door where he usually goes to let us know he has to go outside. Since then, he has figured out that if he goes to that door and pees, we will let him...

    Cat-friends

Machabeus, our 11 week old puppy, came into our home with a cat we've had for about a year. At first seeing him, my cat, Tempy, exiled herself to the basement for a few days but has lately been brave enough to sniff him out and pretend she wants to play. Mac, however, is afraid of her. Every...

    Peeing in bed?

So he peed on the most uncomfortable bedding we gave him... and we were gone for just an hour! Before we left, he made both transactions with the ground and he didn't drink before we left, but sure enough, when we got home, he had messed his bed. Boy, puppy raisin' takes a lot of patience!

    Peeing in bed?

He is 10 weeks old, and it does seem he is too young to do that, but he does nap under our supervision for that long before needing to go out. Should we just wake him up from that nap? And even if we intentionally take him out every hour, he doesn't do anything and just wants to eat leaves.

    Peeing in bed?

I've heard from several locations that a dog does not pee in the place he sleeps. Well, my boxer sure does! His first bed was very soft and comfortable (a couple of our old bed pillows) and he soiled the crate and tracked the mess onto his bed. After we washed them, he took to peeing on them...

    New Boxer Owner

Hi! We have adopted a ten week old boxer puppy. His name is Machabeus (we call him Mac), and he was born after his mother was rescued. He spent a lot of time in a pet shop and is now happy to be at home with us, growing quickly. He certainly is a handful, but is worth it. What a cute and...
