:p :p Joey loves the water!!!! I take him to the local bark park here. There is a pond that is usually full of retrievers of every sort, Joey decided if they could fetch a ball in the water, so could he, jumped right in and has been swimming ever since.

Joey wears a harness....I tried just letting him free ride, but he is way to active and I'm afraid he'll get hurt if I have to stop fast. The harness allows him to stand, sit or lay down.:rolleyes:

Hi everyone, it's been awhile since I was here last. Joey is growing like a weed, he's 18 months old now and weighs 67 pounds. I sure wish I had just a little of his energy:p :p Anyway, Joey and I are relocating to Phoenix next month and will be driving from Columbus Ohio to Phoenix, AZ...

:D No CC, I didn't teach Joey to swim......it took a while of going to the dog park and as he played with other dogs, I guess he decided that they were having far too much fun in the water without him, and he started swimming.........
