almost 9 month old biting still

Our almost 9 month old boxer, Dolly, has developed a bad habit that I've never experienced with our other boxers (Maybe I have a bout of amnesia??) However, she awakens every morning almost like clockwork at 5am. After she is taken out we go back to bed. She might lie still for a minute or so...

    Obedience training for boxer puppy

I had to reply before reading all the rest of the wonderful responses I received. (I knew my mind would be put at ease if I called on my friends at Boxerworld). The store is not PetSmart but Petco. I tried to get her in at 13 weeks of age. The trainer then cancelled the day of the class...

    Obedience training for boxer puppy

Hi! I've participated a few times in various forums and my first thoughts after the unpleasant experience I had at obedience class turned to thoughts of contacting my friends here at Boxerworld. I signed up my 5 1/2 month old boxer for obedience classes at a well known pet supply store. The...

amount of drinking water for pups

My boxer pup, Dolly, is now 8 wks. old. At 6 weeks, the vet said the amount of water for her is about 100ML which I think is about 1/4 of a cup. Seems like a small amount....she always wants more. Any suggestions?

    New puppy...after all these years

Thanks all for your responses and welcoming to this website. Eventhough I have had boxers for about 37 years now (Yikes!) I am learning so much from all the other boxer owners. New for me is this crating system. My daughter has 2 pugs and swears by it. All she has to say is, "Kennel Up!" and...

    New puppy...after all these years

Hi! I wanted to introduce myself. I've always had boxers...my first one having been adopted from the SPCA. I remember my mom coming in to check that night to make sure the dog didn't eat me up! That was a long time ago. Since then have had 2 boxers each living to be 12 years old. Our last...
